1. - Breadloaf- This classic and timeless design is square with a curved top that resembles a broadleaf. It is 2.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall.

2. - Rectangle- This modern design is often preferred to set a drink on or anything small enough to sit on a 3 inch wide flat top. It is 3 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall.

3. - Round- This design is almost completely round with a flat bottom to support the posts and pickets. It is proffered for a larger graspable profile. It is 2.3 inches wide by 1.87” tall.

4. - Small Rectangle with eased edges- This design is mostly used for handrails on stairs or ramps. It offered a fully graspable profile at adheres to handrail code, but can also be used as a “Low Profile” top channel for interior rails. It is 2 inches wide by 1 inch tall with curved eased edges.

5. - Flat Bar- Typically 1/4 inch thick, this profile is mainly used to support a wood top channel where the wood is fastened to the flat bar with screws from underneath. It is typically 2 inches wide by 1/4 inch tall, but the width can vary depending on the post and wood topper selection.

Post Sizes. Posts are essential for providing support and stability to the railing system. They play a crucial role in ensuring safety while enhancing the overall design of your space. Choose from the following to see post size best fits your space.

1. - 2x2 inch square. This option comes standard for our exterior rail systems. It offers a symmetrical look to our standard square pickets.

2. - 2x1.5 inch rectangle. This option is typically used on stair rails or handrails to offer a “low profile” look while also better supporting our 2x1 inch top channel profile.

3. - 1.5x1.5 inch square. This option is also typically used on stairs rail or handrail for an even “lower profile” look.

4. - 4x4 inch square. This oversize posts brings a bold and eye-catching aesthetic that makes an impression that can be suitable for your space. It requires a bigger custom size top channel or wider flat bar to support a wood topper.
