For this project, we supplied and installed a Modern Horizontal Bar railing system on a two-tiered back deck with matching stair railings. This custom exterior railing system was fabricated in a durable black powder-coated finish, delivering long-lasting protection against the elements while creating a clean, contemporary look that enhances both safety and curb appeal.
The multi-level deck required precise measurements and custom fabrication to ensure seamless transitions between the upper deck, lower deck, and stair sections. Our horizontal bar design maintains open sightlines while providing a strong, code-compliant deck railing solution built to last.
To meet local building code requirements for graspable handrails, the rectangular top channel transitions to a smaller rectangle profile along the stair sections. This adjustment ensures proper grip dimensions while maintaining the modern aesthetic of the overall railing system.
